Hi all,
For the second time this week I have come across a piece of Czech glass, well I'm pretty sure it is!! I haven't seen this design before, that I can remember, and did a search on the board, but as you can imagine Czech vase had more than a few hits. Can any one help me out with confirmation that it is Czech and maybe a designer / date  The vase is 8" tall and 5 1/2" wide, with the typical Czech base and 3 seam lines running up it.
Cheers in advance of any help you can give,

David :sc:

It's definitely Czech. From Rosice part of Sklo union group Pattern 772.

According to Art before Industry CD the designer of this vase is unknown but I seem to remember reading somewhere that Jindrich had identified the designer.

Jindrich has this on his site... in the 'Questions answered section'...  just scroll down a bit.  There he identifies it as:
Rudolf Schrötter pro Rosice u Brna, Sklo Union, 1957 - vzor 772/200

Ah, I see Nemmie beat me to it...  ;)

Nice Czech vase  :)

Thanks for the quick responses both of you, as usual I thank you very much for your help. I will be selling this vase as it was one of an identical pair I found to buy and It wouldn't be fair to keep them both and deny another collector would it now!!!
Cheers again, D :sc:
