Royal Brierley Cystal basket and a short story.

6 inches tall and marked to the base, probably not what most people want today but I picked it up at a table top sale from a man who lived next door to Billy Swingewood when he was a boy, he told me he used to go round to his yard and watch him make his animals and as he grew up most of his friends went into the industry, shame he didn't have any of those for sale !  ;D

Is it really a cut-away, round ball? I suspect so and if so, very neat indeed.
Just right for serving home made chocolate rum truffles. 8)
