Hi everyone,
It has been a very long time since i have been back... but had a question about this piece I recently purchased.
I've been told that it is rare, but wanted to know if anyone knows what this piece has sold for before?
I have looked online on every website i could find, and have not found a similar one for sale or a past auction result for it.
Is the date of 1960s accurate for the piece?

Here are the photos:

Thank you all in advance for any information you can give me.

Thank you Svazzo, that is a Great Compliment!!   Kissy

I think my *Googling Skills* have improved a bit  :rah:  -- and sometimes I do luck out (...just once in a while...)   All I googled was Kosta vase with vertical lines and found it..... Thumb Up

Looks like on that above link there is also a YouTube Vid with that vase --> in it too.

Waving I also note that the link that I posted says that that one is marked on the bottom with "KOSTA LH 1719".

To me, it looks like yours says:  " KOSTA LH - 1719 "        as a wild guess...

LH - L denotes a design by Lindstrand and H for hand shaped. The design may date to the 50s or 60s, need someone with more knowledge to pin it down.
No idea about rarity, sorry.

Looks great to me I wish it were mine.  If you consult this website you will see they date it to 1962/3 - http://www.swedenartglass.com/information/labelsmarks.html

62/63 is the first year of production. So if it was produced under several years you can't tell for sure which year this particular vase was made.
