ID need :Clear Owl shaped paperweight

Hi..can anyone shine some light on the make and age of this paperweight I picked up today at a carboot sale.

It stands 4 1/2" high & weighs 2lbs.

Here's a photo of the base..Its completely flat and polished with no markings.

I have no idea HOOO-O-O-O-O made it -- but the Design reminds me of things like carved Eskimo stuff.  Or like you see in Native carvings (in wood).....but just me thinking out loud, as I know nothing -- but it Cute !!  :nk:
