EUREKA.

Seen......a perfume bottle with the bull's head moulded mark (as shown in the messages above) plus a MADE IN TAIWAN label.

One little mystery solved.

Hello,

This is my first post here but I also have a vanity set in pink satin glass with rose tops with the same mark on it.  Looks to be at least retro if not newer.

I realize this tread is fairly old and probably a closed case in terms of ID but I just thought it was noteworthy that I found the bull's head/cow's head design of Erick Hoglund of Kosta Boda of Sweden to be the same as this mark.

I've also found Kosta Boda has made similar satin glass in pink and also vanity pieces but not these particular sets as indicated in this thread.   Most with Boda sticker or signature unfortunately and not this impressed glass mark.

Do you think the two are related?

Here is a link to an item designed by him with the same bull's head:

Maybe the sets were designed by Erick Hoglund for Kosta and made in Taiwan???

I've about exhausted myself out with this probably unnecessarily and was wondering if anyone else with better resources might be able to ascertain if there is anything to this.

Thank you.
Diana

Welcome to the board.

I think the Hogland bull's head is just a design and nothing to do with the mark being found on vanity sets. There are only so many ways to depict a bull's head. Unfortunately, little is known about glass produced in Taiwan or indeed many of the Far East countries.

I'm confused as to your meaning of retro; to me it means in the style of the past rather than indicating a specific time.

Hi Diana, and welcome to the board. Would you like to add pics of your set and the mark (closeup) to add to the info we have already?
