Jayne - thanks for the link.                  These pieces seem to fetch good money, although not sure if this is due simply to scarcity or high demand from trinket material collectors.         Glass with this type of satin finish always look good, especially with the green, in my opinion, but postage seems high if you're buying from the U.K.

Chris - thanks for your link, very interesting, and good to see they are still going after more than 100 years  -  not too many companies can say that in this day of multiple take-overs or name changes.

think I'd agree with the suggestion of moving to trinket set location, in view of this being more to do with vanity items :)

hello stranger  -  good to see you again, and hope all is well.           Just in case you're interested, the first 'yard sale' will be on Saturday 29th March.

Thank-you very much Paul, I have missed your humour! Actually I was recently thinking it's about time I showed my face at one those yard sales again, I will make a note of the date. :) :)

Just to clarify a point. L.E. Smith has been out of business since January 2011 & its been three years since the tank furnaces were turned off. The website is being run by a two person operation who are selling off inventory from the warehouse if anyone orders from the site.
