It's not easy to do .... all that rolling, turning, gathering, heating, cooling, shaping, ......... !!!  It really is an up-close-and-personal experience that leaves you in awe as to just how talented glass artists have be to create their wonderful works of art.  I'm so glad you had a good time and am looking forward to seeing your finished work of art.  Maybe they will etch the date and your initials or ??? on the bottom!

Thanks, it was a great experience and I would recommend all collectors to have a go. It certainly made me appreciate the skill and physical effort required to produce a hand made item.

Congratulations, Hazel, your paperweight creation is really lovely!  It would stop me in my tracks if I had spotted it in a gallery.  I love the colors!  You should be so very pleased indeed with your beautiful piece of eye candy!
