Dartington Studio Dish
« on: December 17, 2005, 11:21:51 AM »
I wondered if anybody could id the designer of this Dartington Dish or if anybody could offer any more info about Dartington Studio (Google doesn't bring anything up). There was a thread about Dartington Studio a few months back, but all the pictures have gone.

The top is a kind of ochre/orangey yellow and the bottom bright blue. It has the impressed blowpipes mark underneath.

Many thanks,

according to their brochure it is "the result of a creative partnership between the company's senior designer Hilary Green, Devon-based glass artist John Ford and the team of glass blowers at the Barbican, Plymouth"

Take your pick!

ps the colour is "tangerine layered over powder blue"
