I met her at a local show in August and got talking with her and she told me it was her first venture out and was just getting started but looking at the cross section of her work I would say that she would be comparable in her style and quality as a well known Scottish producer, she's so new at it that she was still unsure of her marketing strategy in type and design of packaging, her potential marketing outlets and what to actually charge for her items. I'm no marketing guru but I told her where I saw such things being sold, antique and collectors fairs, gift shops and visitor centres and there is even a few good specialist shops in my area that retail such work. I hope she does well and makes a good name for herself which I'm sure she will. I picked out this weight in particular for its size, 3 and 1/2 inches, and for the delicate pink twist swirls. Reading the text on her little website makes her well qualified to eventually become a recognised name in the future which I'm sure she will.
