Pink & splodgy frosted item - ID = Saivo + decoration by Ilanit
« on: September 24, 2010, 06:13:19 PM »
I'm a bit lost on this one. On the one hand it looks (to me) like something that might have been bought in M&S in the 80's/90's but there is another part of me that feels it could be a bit older - Help!

It has a nice weight and feel but does not show much in the way of wear.

160mm tall

Less forgiving here. This is Arques or Bormioli factory glass shipped to Israel and decorated with acid stain by a decorator called Ilanit. Sorry no redeeming qualities...

Nope It's a Saivo item.
It's a jug or decanter called "Osteria".
Difficult to defind the era....sure it was still on catalogue until the 1990... More or less.

Well it stands then. Decoration by Ilanit of Israel, blank by Saivo of Italy.
