I'm more confused than ever now, lol.
So did Italy copy the Jitka figure?
I haven't resized my photos so can't add the one i have here at the moment but here's a link to it.
Could it be CVG Napoli or Sklo Czech??

Rosie, may i ask, you say your clear frosted lady is hollow, is it all hollow or just the base part?
How on earth do you tell the Italian from the Czech ones? In photos they look identical.

Not sure now if it was all hollow or just the base and part way up. I wasn't impressed with it so sold it for a pittance!! Not the sort of thing I collect anyway.

Fran, You don't show a good side view but the rough bottom edge makes me wary.

I only posted these pictures so there would be a label for reference in the future for others.  It was poorly made and still had all its mould marks....

Oh it helps. I think anyone with labelled glass should have an obligation to post it, lol.
Like the Kunsthandwerk vase i posted, if it weren't for the label I'd be non the wiser & wouldn't have posted it or even bought it come to that. But if it helps one person its worth it. I posted the kunsthandwerk vase on another site & it taught someone, who had no idea beforehand, that the same company made glass as well as pottery. They thought the label had added from something else at first.

Yes, labels help a lot.

But be aware that sometimes labels fall off and then get attached to other items that are not by the company named on the label. Always check for matches in shape, decor etc. before believing an attribution by label alone.

Hi kevin, yes I'm sure. And I'm sure unscrupulous people deliberately put labels on, take them off or change them. In the case of that vase though another example was found so it seems genuine. I like to get glass with labels if i see them, i think i have 2, and ones quite recent.
