is this green vase Czechoslovakian?
« on: September 28, 2010, 07:37:16 PM »
Looks as though it should be, but haven't seen it my books.   Held up to a good light, it is quite a stunning green.   Base has a ground flat outer rim, with fair amount of wear, and some small chips on the edges, unfortunately, so had a fairly hard life.   Inside there remains some water staining at the threequarter height level, so maybe some reasonable age.
6 inches/150mm tall, and top is simply moulded/fire polished.   Vases are possibly the most difficult things to id  -  so many millions of them, but this seems distinctive  -  so hoping someone may recognize the design.    Thanks for looking.    Paul S.
