I don't believe that this paperweight is Whitefriars. And I don't think it is antique. The canes look rather like Murano.  Any thoughts?

From that picture who can tell , ask what the base is like is it made on a button ? the shape and colours dont look too far off .

I agree, this is from Murano.  I've had a number of Murano weights with this pattern, although none had such a nice faceting.

I agree, 100% modern Murano and about the faceting, very nice.  Anyone think this was not original to this weight?
