Murano Polar Bear
« on: October 12, 2010, 04:08:53 PM »

   Hi Everyone!

Can anyone PLEASE help me I.D this lovely Polar Bear? Also approximate year it was made (even the Decade would be Helpful!)

He is 3.5inches (9.5cm) tall and 5inches (13.5cm) long and has 2 Thin red Stripes running through him, one from his head along his back and down to his back feet, the other runs from his head down his front.  The Red Scollaped Label reads " Made in MURANO Italy".

Any Help/Ideas as to Who made him or year Manufactured would be most gratefully appreciated!!

                  Warmest Wishes,

                      John

Thanksfor the replies Chaps!   I'm not very good with Murano Either Keith!!! I just buy what I like the look of. This originally marked up at £20 a bit too rich for me, then it was reduced to £10, a bit more reasonable, then when I was passing the shop yesterday it was being reduced yet again this time to £4!! I snapped it up!! Would still like to find out a bit more about it if I can, but in the meantime I'll follow the Nason lead.

                        Warmest Wishes,

                            John
