  Hi All,

Its a deep Blue Vase 6" High (16cm) 4.5" across (12cm) 4" deep (10.5cm) the corners are cut out and the top is deeply bevelled, lots of age related wear to the base.

Any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated,

          Warmest Wishes,

            John

Hello...  It's a lovely vase. :)  I've got one in clear.
It was designed by Ladena Viznerova.  See here:  http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,35434.0.html

  Thanks Anik! :kissy:

Oddly I had Suspected it might be a piece by Frantisek Vizner, but couldn't find anything like it in the resources I have that cover Czech Glass ( I have a friend who Usually ID's Czech for me, but he's in the States till December!and its out of my comfort zone) So I was pleased and suprised to find out that Ladena Viznerova was Frantisek Vizners first wife, and that she designed very much in the same style as him! Whew!!! that was a relief!

 Again, My heartfelt thanks Anik.

      Warmest Wishes,

          John

LOL!!! to be fair it was one and a half days!!! I have a regular route I follow and often visit up to 30 establishments a DAY!!! quite a few of them I have a good relationship with and they will keep items back for me that they think I may be interested in. I also have six sisters who look out at boot fairs, charity shops and Jumble sales in their parts of the country.

                 Warmest Wishes,

                   John

BTW Anik, when I said 23 pieces I didn't mean 23 Czech pieces, I had some Murano,British,German,Scandi and french including a lovely Lalique Cat and a IoW signed Michael Harris Pedestal Paperweight!!
