Red Riihimaen Dice Vase 7" info price etc please
« on: October 31, 2010, 08:40:37 PM »
Hi, brought a lovely Riihimaen Dice vase in red today, wondered about value and other info.  Seller said Nanny Still design, but I've found them attributed to other designers.  Could anyone remove the doubts and give a value?  It's 7" high, just over 4" wide.

thanks :)
Ian

If it is it like the photo attached here from my collection - except mine is a clear one -  if so i think mine is the following:

<<"Noppa"(dice) clear glass vase. Designed by Erkkitapio Siiroinen and produced by Riihimaki(Finland) Measure 16cm tall and 11cm square.>>

yours seems slightly taller.  as to price I paid $18 for mine about a year ago but it does have a tiny fleabite out of the rim.
hope that helps

Don't normally elude to prices, however, I would say a rough average price for one in good condition would be between £25-40 at present. I think if its Red, you would achieve the higher end of this bracket.
