semi crackle

Strange vase here - part crackle, clear cased, ovoid with a nicely finished pontil mark. Looks Scandinavian or Belgian - any comments please?

I think another avenue to explore is German. I've seen both this type of shape and semi crackled bases described as German glass - but I can't pinpoint it much further than that (speculation would start at, say, Ichendorf). Maybe Dirk or Oliver have seen it before.

I have to admit I haven´t seen a single item in the flesh so far, but... The Konrad Habermeier catalogue of
the exhibition in Freiburg mentions a Gralglas decor called ´Sirius´, described as inside crackle effect in the
lower part of the vase / vessel. Unfortunately the catalogue doesn´t show an example, but judging from the
line drawings your vase might be shape F83. I know - it´s vague... Especially as the catalogue doesn´t give
any measurements.
Here´s a related item BTW:

Thanks - to me that is 100%.
The item is definitely identical in technique (cf. the vertical cracks at the top of the crackle parts) to the one on Jan Kilian's website, and I trust his attributions. Gralglas sounds most feasible.
Thanks again!! :hi:

Ivo, Kilian doesn´t give an attribution! I had a closer look at the mentioned catalogue. There´s a black & white
picture of an F83 shaped vase there - in ´smaragdgrün´. That one has measures with it: 15.5cm high and ca. 10cm
in diameter. Would that possibly fit with your vase? I can´t exclude they were made in different sizes though.  :-\
I know of another example in a nearby shop. Last time I went there they were just unpacking it from a household
clearance. I thought I´d better wait until they´ve put a price on it independantly - too much interest can be price-raising...
