thanks Chris  -  and you were indeed correct - worth a lot more than I paid, obviously I shouldn't have given the first two away, but then I don't sell so giving them into the charity shop possibly the best thing for them (unless of course you wanted to suggest that I give them to you >:D).      Must admit that I still  can't see the attraction - I'd rather have the French opalescent any day, and it still surprises me that the numbering really did go as high as books/list suggest.   But then we all have different tastes, and although I consider these tankards uninteresting, I guess there are 'completists' out there who need every piece from a given factory to make a full collection.       I do collect coloured FT material (but not obsessesively) - and really like the Red, Kingfisher and Midnight  -  but sorry, the clear just doesn't do anything for me.
Anyone want a Munich tankard (numbered) for One hundred and four pounds thirteen shilling and ninepence three farthings. :sun:
