Help with ID, please? Scottish, but by which maker?
« on: November 06, 2010, 02:55:11 PM »
One of a group I purchased under the label of Scottish paperweights which I thought were Strathearn. But on getting them, the canes in this weight and the darker tinge to the glass make me hope it is an Ysart? Am I barking up the wrong tree? Any help is greatly appreciated.
John

Hard to say.

Could be Ysart Brothers (Vasart) but might Vasart Ltd. I don't think it's Strathearn.

A shortwave UV check would show if its earlier or later.
