I am very interested in the makers, and moreso since we moved to Hawick, where we have the pleasure of watching Peter Holmes and his son Andrew at work. Boy, they are talented, and the quality of the paperweights is immense.

I noticed at the Conference in Edinburgh there is a dearth of info about designers and makers of Caithness weights, in the Caithness centre in Crieff, there is a dearth of info about makers and designers.....
You went to the wrong lectures Sue, scan Nowson in this link this document is being updated as the lecture summaries get published,,, read about BOTH of his lectures. Plus some of the designers were there in person.
