« on: December 31, 2005, 09:59:19 AM »
Hi Guys

I have placed some photos of a pink satin finish glass box with lid, in my Unknown Glass album.

It is 13cm square 10cm high and 14cm with lid the pattern is of fruit in intaglio.

Would be greatfull if you can take a look, has anyone see this,  IMHO it could French.

One hour to go and it is 2006 here in NZ best wishes for a Happy New Year to you all

Basic shape reminds me of the Sowerby Pandora Biscuit but there are many differences.

These grapes and the colour look similar. Maybe it's Belgian Scailmont

Interesting suggestion Christine but no other fruit in the Scailmont - only grapes and vine leaves.
On the color, even allowing for lighting differences and the fact that Tony's pice is satin, not similar enough I don't think.
It really needs Glen, Bernard, Ivo on this but none seem to be around right now.
Anne any thoughts ?

Hi Guys
Thank you for your help, this seems to be an odd one, I have looked allover and cannot find anything.
