Lindshammar Cased Vases
« on: December 06, 2010, 12:40:11 PM »
I'm listing these here for reference (sorry if they have been ID'd before and I missed it), as well as to ask if anyone knows of any other Lindshammar opaque cased vases.  There doesn't seem to be much documented, but maybe they didn't make many different styles.

Link to a Swedish forum, scroll about half way down for a pic of one of these with a label: http://www.precisensan.com/antikforum/showthread.php?t=20805

The only other cased Lindshammar design that I know of is this one by Gunnar Ander:

Just an update, found another Lindshammar design:

There's an orange one with a label shown on the Swedish version of ebay here:

Spotted another today, good quality design on a par with Alsterfors, shown here with a JC (Jones & Co) import label:

Turns out it is by Lindshammar, pic with label:

This makes me wonder, if all or most Lindshammar glass imported to the UK might have had JC labels.  Most of the Lindshammar labelled examples seem to be in Sweden.

Another blue hooped vase with a JC label, which looks to be Lindshammar when compared to this orange vase.  Aside from a slight difference in the "hoop", they are identical:

Ah well spotted, haven't seen one of those before.  I wonder if it's a jar missing a lid?
