Is this Royal Brierley Studio?
« on: February 01, 2011, 09:09:46 PM »
It looks like a Royal Brierley studio glass but cased glass?  No marking on the base.  Any help are most welcomed.

They are not always marked, even when they are sometimes the mark is next to impossible to spot.

The shape is spot on, the ground and polished rim is right and the pattern looks good, not sure I have seen it in that colour before but they did make them in a heap of different colours. Looks right to me.

I agree it looks right shape and finish.  Interesting though, I've not ever seen them cased with white interior before.  Although they did do a white version iridescent but I don't recall that one being cased.  I like the decor on this one, very pretty.

To get that colour they probably had to have white as a base, so casing was necessary. No need for the extra work if it is not required for the other colours.
