Vasart vase?
« on: January 14, 2011, 04:55:29 PM »
Hi everybody.  I'm new to this, so bear with me.  I have a ten inch high square cased cluthra glass vase that looks to me like Vasart.  It has a wide ground pontil, violet and greenish-yellow coloring.  Sorry I can't post any photos as apparently my camera's image size is too big.  Can anyone tell me if Vasart made any large vases in a square shape?

Hi and welcome. :hi:

You can check the catalogues here.

However cluthra (a bit bubbly) and square doesn't sound like Vasart to me!

There's lots of techie info (not too techie!) - here

http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/board,22.0.html

about resizing images. I use paintshoppro, there's a section for that in particular, as well as others.
It's important to use the compression bit, so the images can be "blown up" for inspection.

If you can't manage to resize your pics down small enough, send me copies by email and I'll resize them and add here for you. Up to 8Mb per email is fine, as are multiple emails.
