Concentric circles on the base of a blown item are often an artefact of the cooling process rather than a design feature.

Not in this case, we are talking moulded concentric circle, at least I think so. Quite a few Riihimaen Lasi designs have concentric circles on the base like the following.

I think that info in the Millers guide is incorrect, the bit about the base rings certainly is. The green looks like the ordinary emerald sort of green used by Riihimaen Lasi and they did use a lime green too - I used to have a Solmuke vase in an almost lime green.

Things have gone off a bit with the colour & concentric circle thing - I was only referring to design 1379 & not Riihimaki in general.
