three piece flower set
« on: January 18, 2011, 09:24:07 PM »
I am trying to identify  what I believe is a three piece flower set left by my late mother.

It has a round black glass plinth that is stepped.  The bowl inself is nearly opace yellow glass with black glass piping around the top. The frog is again black glass in the shape of a pyramid.

We know little about it except it was given to my mother about 1937 by a neighbour when she died.

Hope someone can help as I would love to know more about it

Many Thanks

Hi and welcome to the board. Can you add some photos of your flower set please? Without photos it's not easy to ID things. If you need help with adding pics, see our help topic here: http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,6522.0.html or drop me an email and I'll help if you get stuck.

Welcome to the board. It doesn't sound like British glass but without pictures we can't really help - the world of glass is vast.

It sounds beautiful  :)  I'd love to see pictures as well, and welcome.
