I just thought he meant a coincidence - me in Oz buying a Scottish paperweight and he in Uk buying an Oz one!

Coincidental but not so odd. Paperweights, though heavy, are easily tucked into hand luggage or safely in the depths of a suitcase as a holiday souvenir because of their compactness.

Just making a conversation on the coincidence of you buying a British weight in Oz and me buying an Aussie on in the UK at the same time.

I think the Aussie maker now works in Scotland now though, I need to do some more reaserch. Hes called Mathew Ryan. Signs his work Matt Ryan.
