Pressed glass trinket pot - ID = Reich
« on: January 26, 2011, 05:43:00 PM »
Trinket pot from a part set that I bought recently. I am sure I have seen this pattern  a number of times before.

I had a quick look on Anne's site and could not see it , but most likey is. There is a label on the base of the pot which I will post later.
The trinket pot is like a flower / bud.

Hi Roy,

This pot is by S. Reich & co. I don't recall the pattern no., but it's definitely Reich. It's from a set which includes this tray:

See also here for a fantastic opalescent example of the set:

Thanks Steven

I think your spot on as always. There were 6 pieces in all which I will post later, there is a figural soap dish which I think I have seen one before.

They used this basic rosebud design for a lot of things. I have a grapefruit dish with roses round the upturn of the saucer, a sugar bowl with a metal stand, and two posy egg cuppy things. The sugar bowl and one of the posies is in clear green uranium.
