This has been a most interesting thread.  The weight is a beauty, that's for sure.  I have an observation regarding the yellow "daffodil" canes.  They appear (to me) to be the same as the yellow 'stars' in the Whitefriars Large Owl Paperweight.  I must admit to only having a magnifying glass (vs loupe) and that my vision capabilities are more mole than eagle. 8)  Does anyone else think the canes in question are the same?

I have three Owls and yes those canes appear in all three
