Padded/Marquetry stems--not MOSER, are they new?
« on: January 30, 2011, 12:39:19 AM »
Various stemware with padded cherries or strawberries are appearing frequently on Ebay in the U.S.  advertised as Moser.  Curious, I bought one of the strawberry stems (see pics).  I sent a picture to Moser through their contact on their website and they replied that these are not Moser.  The wine glass is very light, has no pontil, and has absolutely no wear on the bottom, so I am wondering if this is a new production--but from where?  Have any of you seen these and know where they are made?  Any clues are very much appreciated!

I am attaching a different picture.  If it also is tiny, I'm not sure what the problem is--it expands at home with my software.   My knowledge of digital photography is almost zero.  Thanks for bringing it to my attention!
