Dark amethyst crystal vase with waves, ground pontil - ID = Webb
« on: February 06, 2011, 08:44:44 PM »
Dark amethyst crystal vase with wave formation. It measures 18cm tall and 22cm across the top rim. It has has a polished base and ground central pontil. A beautiful vase and it rings like a bell.

Almost sure it is Webb  :X: :ho:

It also has a look of Whitefriars by Barnaby Powell http://www.whitefriars.com/contents.php?pageNum_Recordset1=8&totalRows_Recordset1=121&ID=132
I will investigate Webb, thank you.

YES, its WEBB, enough already!

Before the square vs round response by johnphillip, I wished to look up about Webb. After viewing the "vs" post I looked at my piece and now is the first chance to respond. Its square.........YES, its Webb

Thanks all, even if I do feel a little pummeled.

IS this before or after finding out where the piece was actually made?????
