Could it be possible to ID the maker and date, please, on this sommerso bird ? It stands 27cm tall and has a polished pontil to base , quite thin ! Thanks very much , Mike.

The colours, the base, and the style all seem newish to me, the last ten or fifteen years. I haven't a clue about a maker.

....but then I think I have seen something like that as a Newer Murano like David said.  I think my brain is over-loaded right now  :ho:

I think the bird might well be FM !...very similar indeed to Ingela's bird. The conical base is almost identical . The person who sold it to me seemed to think it dated from the 1970's . There is some wear to the base which would suggest some sort of age.

The green colour goes very clear and faint under artificial lighting if this might be a clue.  I think I might have posted this in the wrong section !!  :fwr:
