I purchased this vase at an antique market.  Can anyone decipher the signature or recognize the artist?

Hi there, and Welcome to the board :rah:

:chky:  Pretty sure I found your Vase (I lucked out  :spls:), and the Maker.  The maker name is Paul BENDZUNA, and here is a link for it:

http://www.artglass-pottery.com/bendzuna-glass-vase-seahorses-p-1104.html  Priced there at $175.00.

I believe it is a match!!

Just one little adjustment -- Bendzunas. The first website misspelled the name. His own website got it right, of course.  :) I think he is one of the best. His work is under-appreciated, IMO. I have a couple of things he made and have sold a few of his pieces. I just love his work.

Well done Rose  :kissy: I'd never have figured that name from the signature!  :hiclp: :hiclp: :hiclp:

I must be used to reading *messy* signatures -- including mine  :24:

As TxSilver Pointed out there is a *S* at the end of his name.  Perhaps the MODS can add the ID to the Title, and making sure that it has the *S* at the end, as I had accidentally (because of that site) also misspelled his name.  Good Eye there TxSilver, as I would have never caught that.

@ kulow -- Did you get it for a good bargain price at the Antique market?  As it appears it is really collectible, and worth a bit to buy.  So good for you!!

This is one of my dad's vases- Paul Bendzunas, and it's a fairly recent one, he's only used the animal pattern for the last 10 years or so.

You can see pictures of more work, the gallery, and the studio here: http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Bendzuas-Glass/115303925177959
