We spent over 4 hours there this time last year, and he made me the 4 colour marbrie to the left of the shipwreck while there.  Andrew also made a weight, in one of the pictures, but lovely to see them and they went out of their way to make us feel welcome and show us how it's done!

I have a lovely Selkirk weight called 'Nightshade'. It was the first 'proper' weight I ever bought, and I got it from the Yelverton Paperweight Centre.  However, when we went back a couple of years ago and I mentioned it to the chap there, he said he had never heard of it and couldn't find the name in the catalogues! :spls: At the time I couldn't remember the date or number, only the name, but when we got home I checked, and it's inscribed on the base 'Selkirk Glass Scotland Nightshade 149/300 1994'.  Why couldn't he find it in the catalogue, I wonder

Wuff, would you like a picture?

Well - I guess he didn't look carefully enough: shows up in the 1994/95/96 catalogues. Edition size given is 500, though, not 300.

And - yes - images would be great: good original images are always better than scanned catalogue images.

Hi Wuff

We have listed a Selkirk on eBay (seller: rosismum) - please feel free to download and use the eBay images.

Thank you, Alan - auction has been marked for copying.

Although the images in the catalogues are slightly more brownish, I'm sure your weight is "Tiger Lily - Purple", designed by William Lowery, and first issued in 1995.
There is also another colourway (Pink), first issued in 1993.
They show up in catalogues until 1999 - but may well have been produced afterwads.
