Swirling controlled bubble dish, Maker?
« on: February 22, 2011, 12:04:26 PM »
This small dish is very thick glass - similar to a Per Lutken donut in size.  It is of course clear, has a well finish flat, polished pontil.  There are no makrings.

Its feature is those beautiful swirls of controlled bubbles.  It looks much better than the photos I managed to get.

Any idea for a maker?  I suspect Scandinavian - leaning towards Holmegaard - BUT no signature.

I bamle all snileplg eorrrs on the Cpomuter Kyes.  They confuse my fingers !!!

Hi Ross, the pattern of swirling bubbles reminds me of the Galliano Ferro bowls, although I've never seen them in clear glass, only coloured.  They're probably not the only maker to use that pattern, but I thought it might be worth a mention.  [link]
