Question please - re Royal Brierley Studio iridescent range
« on: February 27, 2011, 08:49:25 PM »
did Royal Brierley Studio make lampshades within their iridescent range?
Or is there someone out there copying the iridescence (or very similar)?
thanks

I think so, I have seen several shades in green with the typical Royal Brierley studio pattern. They were not marked though.

thanks  :sun:  I have one I want to list (I've a nice little accidental 'collection' in lampshades, built up whilst trying to actually find two that can live together on the same ceiling and failing  ::)  ) and I was curious.  I once sold (and have regretted it ever since) the nicest piece of Royal Brierley studio glass I've ever come across, which was a turquoise iridescent plain bowl.  My lampshade is the same but seems a lot more transparent than the bowl.   I guess it had to be though to let some light through though :thud:
