Sowerby 1937 Coronation amber glass mug
« on: March 03, 2011, 03:49:09 AM »
Picked this up last week too: Sowerby Coronation mug - shown in Glen's Sowerby Glass CD's as the 1936 or 37 (I forget which - it's late!)  King Edward VIII version, this one is the later 1937 King George VI and Queen Elizabeth version.  I've not seen one of these before so couldn't resist adding it to tankards and commemoratives collections!  :-[

Forgot to say, it's 4" tall and the diamond panel is frosted, the rest is clear.
