Thank you very much for the nice comments Christine & Anik :)
When I searched for my old thread, I realized that almost exactly 7 years have passed since I found the first piece...

lucky you, Michael!

Being myself a proud owner of another bowl from this series (The design with the 3 'wavy' lines), I can only say VERY well done!

Thank you Assaf!
Any chance to see a pic of your bowl? ;)
I wonder if these pieces were only produced in this particular colourway...

As far as I know, this was the only colourway. I am a bit confused by the engraving on Assafs piece though, it seems to be an EU governmental thing, perhaps as gifts between countrys' representatives..... why they would use a Czech piece of glass?, seems daft.

Robert, I think you are referring to my bowl ;)
I didn't think much about the engraved logo so far, particularly because it is quite discrete.
Doing a little google search showed that VŽKG stands for the Vítkovice steel works (Vítkovické železárny Klementa Gottwalda n.p.).

Yes Michael, my mistake, that explanation makes some sense, even so, it must have been a very upmarket gift.

Hi Michael,
I would love to post a picture of my bowl, but unfortunatly it is in storage at the moment, due to some planned renovations.... I will defenetly post a picture when I'll unpack my glass, I realy miss it :-(... However, it has exactly the same colorway as all other examples in this thread.
Assaf
