Bought this dish today, from the seller on the fleamarket who had the same beautiful pink/clear engraved vase last week which John (glassobsessed) showed here.

Unfortunately a big crack runs through it, but as these pieces are so hard to find I had to buy it (if only for reference).
It is not shown in the CGR article on Maria Stahlikova, but it obviously comes from the same range...

OK, that's it.  I'm moving to Austria...

Michael, it's a more-than-wonderful piece. But what a terrible shame that it's damaged.

You are more than welcome (if you promise not to buy any Czech glass ;D)

Yes, it's a pity that it is damaged -- it was a really great piece...
I hesitated quite some time until I decided to get it despite of the crack -- I just couldn't leave it there.
But I found two very nice of those "Novy Bor"? vases (with the coloured blob in the base, check out my gallery :)), so I wasn't too disappointed.

OK, I'll leave all the Czech glass for you.  I'll only buy Czechoslovakian. :P

Michael, I've looked into your album, but I don't know which coloured-blob base pieces are new... I assume this one and... ?

Yes, and the one left to it (with the multi-coloured swirl -- I love those!)
I think Jindrich identified them as Chribska production...

Ah, yes... Until a few weeks ago, I also had one of those.  It was light green with a light pink swirl. (http://serve.mysmiley.net/sad/sad0019.gif)

Oh, not nice.

If we knew a designer there would certainly be more value to them.
I think it is a lovely design...
