Hi Adam.  Welcome back on board, as it were.

I've seen 20 or 30 copies of the first vase.  Always marked FIDENZA, ITALY; ITALY with a 5-pointed star; or a slightly larger 5-pointed star with FA (I think it is) inside it on the base.

Last time I went to the Cambridge Glass Fair a couple of stalls were selling these as Sklo Union pieces at £20-30 a pop.  When I turned them over, both were clearly marked ITALY!

I've never seen a Czech version of this vase, and remain to be convinced that it's a Sklo Union design.

There are quite a lot of Fidenza pieces from the 60s and 70s that appear to be Czech-inspired, but I haven't yet found any direct rip-offs.

Cheers,
Chris

If marked Fidenza....are Jamaica and Dalia.
Jamaica was on catalogue from 1981 to 90's.....Dalia from 1975 to 90's
Honestly? A copy.....of the original one....i suppose.

Thanks.

Interesting to see your interest in Fidenza amongst others. I have seen a few copies of the first vase since my original post with Fidenza marks. I don't know about Jamaica and Dalia. It would be good to find out what you know.

Thanks

Adam
