From what I could see, and tried to read ???? could it be MULLER ???  :spls: :-\ :pb:

that is a totally Guess ????????  Looked on the Net and there are some Muller glass....and also a Peter Muller.....??? Not sure where you are located as to which/who it could be as to where you might be from --- if it signed  Muller ????? strictly as a guess...

hi thanks for that i am in the UK bought the item in a flea market. hard to take a pick as the globe casts a shadow and when i use a flash it is to bright will try muller.  looked up muller dont think its peter muller. and the only other one made glass eyes. it might be them trying something different .

found a duncan miller glass company in the usa trying to find some of there pieces

Fiddling around with contrast etc. I can see clearly it says miller - I can see the dot above the "i".

Is the siganture on a brass (?) collar? And is the upper part of the foot metal or glass?

The signature may only apply to the metal part(s) - assuming I am correct in my thinking. The glass parts could have been made "anonomously" and the whole item constructed by the retailing company.

looked at paul but think this is older than his pieces. the only other miller i could find was duncan and miller from the usa
