Is the siganture on a brass (?) collar? And is the upper part of the foot metal or glass?

The signature may only apply to the metal part(s) - assuming I am correct in my thinking. The glass parts could have been made "anonomously" and the whole item constructed by the retailing company.
thanks for looking. i love this buynig stuff then trying to find who made it. when i bought it you couldnt see the name untill cleaned
there is always someone worse off .
