Pirelli Kangaroo
« on: January 16, 2006, 06:41:47 AM »
Hi,
I have just joined this site as I am trying to find out more about a Pirelli Kangaroo. I work for a Social Service Agency in New Zealand. We have a major fundraiser each year of old or antique items. I research and price glass for this event. We recently had a Pirelli Kangaroo donated and I am interested in learning about it so that I can include some background info for the sale especially age. I'm not sure if you are interested in a photo of it for the Pirelli site. It has blue ears and a blue tail and the joey has blue ears as well. The Kangaroo has it's Pirelli label on it.

Thanks
GG

Hi GG,

A picture is always welcomed for the catalogue, front and side view please.

There is very little chance of ever dating these beyond 1945-80 until a worker or two can be found... which seems unlikely now.

Look forward to seeing it too.

Thanks for posting.

Hi,
Thanks for the quick reply. I'll work on a photo.  Can I post it to the Forum or what. I was offering because on the Pirelli web page it said that you were looking for more examples to add. So I'm not sure where best to send it.

Regards
GG

Email please, do not worry about size... bigger the better.

Just use the email buttom at the bottom of any of my messages.

Please include height and your name for a credit, thank you. :)
