I've just been reading about Gordiola Glass as I have been interested to know who might have enamelled my plate since it is signed Gordiola rather than Cirera or Royo as other pieces of Gordiola glass seem to be.
I came across thishttp://www.mallorcaquality.com/vidrios-gordiola/
which seems to say the widow of Gabriel Balaguer (1855-1911) was Antonia Manera Cirerol (1860-1928) ran the glassworks for a while for her children on the death of their father - children being Bernardo and Gabriel Manera
I've come across the information that those pieces signed Cirera were by Genis Cirera Casonovas (source in link below). I wondered if there was a link between him and Antonia Manera Cirerol. I suppose I was just wondering as the signature looks to me like it could read Cirerol.
Does anyone have any links to Genis Cirera Casanovas/Casonovas to read up on as I couldn't really find any further information. Thanks http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,50182.msg283607.html#msg283607
