Can anyone help ID this Glass Hedgehog - ID = Heron Glass
« on: March 15, 2011, 05:40:03 PM »
Hi
Can anyine ID this really nicely made hedgehog? I think it has the look of Ditchfield? It has no marking on the base.
Measures 3.5 inches from nose to tail!
Thanks for looking!

I agree, it's more like Heron than Ditchfield - Ditchfield's iridesence tends to be deep in colour - this is a bit sparkly-rainbowy bright.
Did Heron do Hedgehogs?

I'm pretty certain it is Heron Glass......they were made a few years ago and were often listed on eBay, in pinks, golds, blues and yellows, all with the same gentle iridescence.  Spikier than Neo Art Glass and lighter than Ditchfield, they sold quickly, but you rarely see them now.

Hi everyone,
Thankyou for all your help! I am going to sell on eBay so I'll give a thankyou to glass messages for helping me out!
Heron Glass - it is!
I think it's a beautifully made item, with a lot of quality to the design.
Bye for now
