Here's some pictures of my sick parrot. He's lovely, huge and heavy and so ugly! :24

Yes pl79, he is wonderful,  I love him.....is the number a date and an item number?

I don't know is it too early to be a date? I have not thought about what the number could be.

Great parrot! The label was used from the early 1960s until the late 1970s according to Marc Heiremans in his book Murano Glass: Themes and Variations. The etched numbers are probably the stock and model number. That is what they look like to me. I would love to put your parrot in the Murano Zoo. If you would like to put it in the zoo, just send me a picture -- the first one will do -- the height and your full name and I'll be glad to find include it. You can reach my email by clicking the envelope on the left.

If you haven't seen the zoo, the link is under my signature. Your parrot would be a great addition.

Great parrot.  I LOVE It!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   :smg:  I have to agree the numbers on the label are probably stock numbers.

Lustrousstone has a dead/sick/dying pigeon who would be great company for him!

I have sent the photo for 'sick as a parrot' to be in the zoo. We are most honoured to be invited. Thank you for all your lovely comments. :kissy:
