Decanter - 1930s British?
« on: March 24, 2011, 11:12:42 PM »
Here is a decanter given to me many years ago by an older woman who had been houskeeper to a rich Glasgow family - the piece was from the house and she swore it had been handed down through generations - however my inclination is art deco and I would have thought it was bought new in the 20s 30s.

Not sure if its Scottish or even English but the provenance seems right

Hi Adam, could we (and that would be me and those that actually know something  ::) ) have  a picture of the bottom? Is the blue of the stopper the same blue of the bottom?

Carolyn
