I have a label but no name - ID = Davidson 695 pattern
« on: March 26, 2011, 04:11:47 AM »
hello
I have been cleaning out my garage and found this dessert set. It compirses of a large glass bowl, 6 dessert bowls and 6 little plates.  I know they were the rage in the 60's as my mother had a set.\
the funny thing about this lot is they tell me where they are from but not who made them.  I have been surfing on the web but to no result.  If anyone could give me a name it would be great.

It looks like it may be Davidson's 695 pattern, see here for comparison: http://www.cloudglass.com/galllerybetweenwar.htm (scroll down to almost halfway down the page and there is a uranium green bowl in this pattern.)
Cheers! Anne, da tekniqual wizzerd

It is the same pattern, but yours was probably made 30/40 years later. I've compared yours with the uranium one I have. The one on the website hasn't got a label at all  The clear ones are extremely common in the UK.
