MULTI COLOURED BOWL
« on: March 27, 2011, 12:23:24 PM »
Hi

I think this might be Murano but any ideas as to which studio and its age? The pontil is quite scratched. The inside does have a lot of gold inclusions and a significant white circle on one side. This can be seen in picture of the top.
It is quite large - 18" wide & 8.1/2" at tallest point (5" high on main part of body).
It is also very heavy.

Thanks in advance
Rosie

It looks like Vetro Artistico Veneziano - a Murano maker of whom is little known apart from the labels they use.
