Deep Red Vase - Modern or?? - ID = Bondware Japan
« on: July 10, 2011, 12:18:52 PM »
Hi all

Just wondering if anyone knows the maker on this vase please? It could be a modern vase measuring at 7.5cm tall. Quite a heavy piece. When exposed to the blacklight, it changed its colour from deep ruby red to orange. Any info is much appreciated.

Cheers
Brenton

They are Japanese made, I have seen several with their original made in Japan labels on. There are more examples on this board but you will need to search for them.

They are often sold as Czech which they are not. They come in various colours, some are even multicoloured.

If I remember correctly they were made to hold a tea light (candle).
